Sharks Make Waves at the Endless Summer Meet!

NTA Swimmers Bring the Heat to Libertyville High School Ahead of a Jam-Packed Weekend.

The New Trier Aquatics Sharks headed out to Libertyville High School this past weekend to compete in the Endless Summer meet, hosted by RISE Aquatics. Our swimmers showed up ready to race, and the results speak for themselves! It was a fantastic weekend of swimming, with numerous personal bests, impressive first-time swims, and standout performances across all age groups.

Stepping Up to the Challenge: First-Time Swims

We love seeing our swimmers challenge themselves by tackling new and difficult events. It takes courage to step up to the blocks for an unfamiliar race, and these Sharks did just that!

Exceptional Swims to Remember

The Endless Summer meet saw some truly remarkable performances that deserve a special mention. These fast swimmers pushed their own boundaries to achieve massive new personal bests:

  • Ella Houston: Dominated with a 1st place finish and a blazing fast 1:05.10 in the 100 Fly, shaving a half-second off her previous best time!
  • Sean Zhao: Powered to 1st place victories with massive time drops, shaving almost 6 seconds off his 400 Free (4:13.34) and over 6 seconds off his 200 Fly (2:14.79)!
  • Joseph Kennedy: Put on a show with 1st place touches across the board, highlighted by a staggering 27.8-second drop in the 800 Free (10:32.49)!
  • Cecily Clifton: Showed off her versatility with a best time of 30.47 in the 50 Free, plus a 1st place finish in the 200 Fly, dropping 4.5 seconds to hit 2:51.96!
  • Thomas Johnson: Brought the speed with 1st place finishes and massive personal bests, including a nearly 2-second drop in the 50 Breast (36.01) and dropping over 2.5 seconds in the 100 Breast (1:17.78)!


Looking Ahead: A Weekend of Big Meets!

The momentum is building as we head into an incredibly exciting weekend of competition!


Our Age Group Training Camp swimmers, currently in Louisville, will be traveling to Franklin, IN, to meet up with their teammates for the Summer Classic. Meanwhile, our Senior Training Camp swimmers are kicking off the Hawaii Senior State Championships today on Maui!


We are so proud of all our athletes and can't wait to see what they achieve in the coming days.
