Huge time drops and spectacular performances highlight a winning weekend in Indiana!

As part of the Age Group Training Camp to Louisville, 31 swimmers joined several NTA teammates at the Franklin Summer Classic in Franklin, IN last weekend. And they put on quite a show!

We saw some absolutely jaw-dropping swims this weekend, with many athletes shedding significant time. Here are some of the most remarkable absolute time drops from the meet:

  • Ian Kwak dropped a stunning 36.13 seconds in his 200 Breast and 20.40 seconds in his 200 Back!
  • Caden Cook dropped 30.09 seconds in his 200 Back and 20.87 seconds in his 200 IM!
  • Caroline Cho dropped 18.87 seconds in her 100 Fly!
  • Sophie Sime dropped 16.47 seconds in her 100 Fly!
  • Eleanor Gaetano dropped 13.78 seconds in her 100 Fly!
  • Evan Li dropped 12.93 seconds in his 50 Free and 7.49 seconds in his 50 Fly!
  • Savannah Leskinen dropped 12.11 seconds in her 50 Breast!

Our Sharks are back in action this weekend at the North Shore Open, hosted by PAC at Stevenson High School, and the Summer Splash, hosted by RISE at Libertyville High School.
