Our NTA Sharks headed over to Stevenson High School last weekend for the North Suburban Splash hosted by PAC, and wow, did they deliver! We saw incredible racing and massive time drops across the board. Fostering a safe and supportive environment to create positive pathways to lifelong excellence is our core mission, and the results of that hard work were on full display in and out of the pool!

The Constant Improvers
We had a massive wave of Sharks who were constantly at the timing desk celebrating personal records all weekend long. In a prelim/finals format, dropping time is a challenge—and dropping time across a large slate of events is an incredible feat of endurance and focus.

Exceptional Swims Spotlight
Let's talk about some truly exceptional, eye-popping performances! Swimming the metric mile (1500m Freestyle) is a massive achievement in its own right, but this weekend, we saw some incredible top-tier swims in the 1500 from
Ivy Duffy,
Sam Moreau-Krone,
Addison McNeal,
Madeline Moreau-Krone, and
Shai Livne! Add in
Patrick Chan casually dominating the 800 Free, and our distance crew is looking absolutely unstoppable.
We also have to give a special shoutout to
Abigail Logan and
Ozan Samikoglu. Because this was a prelim-final meet, athletes often had to swim the same events twice. Abigail and Ozan both recorded best times across
eight different events—proving they had the endurance and speed to step up to the blocks and drop time in both the morning sessions and the evening finals! That is next-level Shark energy!
