NTA Competes at the 2026 Illinois Swimming Summer Senior State Championships

New Trier Aquatics (NTA) competed at the 2026 Illinois Swimming Summer Senior State Championships at FMC in Westmont over the weekend.

Sam Moreau-Krone and Jamie Schlaud both achieved their first-ever Summer Sectional cuts in the 200 LC Meter Breaststroke!

NTA had several standout performances that earned spots on the podium:

• Sam Doubleday: 5th Place, 1500 LC Meter Freestyle (17:05.47)
• Maia Perry: 7th Place, 1500 LC Meter Freestyle (18:23.43)
• Violet Schumacher: 9th Place, 800 LC Meter Freestyle (9:31.81); 9th Place, 1500 LC Meter Freestyle (18:30.35)
