Sharks Raise over $18,000 for Breast Cancer Research!
A Splash of Pink, A Wave of Support

What an incredible day for our New Trier Aquatics family!
This past Saturday, October 25th, we hosted our "Real Swimmers Wear Pink" Breaststroke Clinic, and it was a phenomenal success both in and out of the pool. The event brought our athletes together for a special session dedicated to breaststroke drills and skills, but it was also so much more.
It was inspiring to see swimmers from different groups mingling, collaborating, and learning from one another. Our athletes had the unique opportunity to not only learn from their coaches but also to teach and mentor their teammates, strengthening the bonds that make our Sharks community so special.
Beyond the powerful display of teamwork in the pool, our community showed its incredible heart. This clinic was tied to a fundraiser to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and the response was truly overwhelming.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that together, our New Trier Aquatics Sharks combined to raise over $18,000 for the cause!
This is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the generosity and commitment of our swimmers, families, and coaches. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to every athlete who participated, every family who donated, and everyone who helped spread the word. Your support will make a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer.
An event like this doesn't happen without dedicated volunteers. We want to give a special shoutout to our Parent Liaisons, Susan Logan, Emily Rose, and Melissa Wessel, for helping us put on such a great and seamless event. Thank you for your hard work and leadership!
Thank you once again to everyone involved for proving that our team is a force for good.
For anyone who was unable to participate or wishes to continue supporting this wonderful cause, our team fundraising page will remain open until October 31st. You can join our team and make a donation by clicking here:
